PixelPile #1722 Under Flight 1

Our storage unit is directly under the last and lowest stretch of the approach path for Peachtree-Dekalb Airport, and on my last trip there, I grabbed these shots (this Big Guy was just passin’ through on the way to Dobbins AFB).

That’s one of my planes from Travis.

I knew when I posted this picture that I’d draw you out. But I had no idea it was one of yours.

I can’t read the tail number, but it was probably one of our depot birds.

You can tell it’s Travis (Blue AMU) from the tail flash. Dover has a solid yellow line (heh) while Travis has that goofy 3-Plane thing in the front and either a blue or gold flash extending back along the rudder (blue and gold representing the two Aircraft Maintenance Units or “AMU’s”).

Comments have been turned off, originally due to a vulnerability in Movable Type. It's now been patched, but I'm no longer willing to leave TextDrive's server at risk to attack by spammers, just so I can get two or three comments per month on my photos. My apologies.
