Pulled over due to the lack of a small sticker on my car tag, I thought, “how often do you get a chance to shoot blue lights in a rear view mirror?” So I decided to take something away from the experience ... other than a ticket.
Oh, my vehicle was sitting perfectly still when I took this picture. It takes a while for the officer to write the citation. Plenty of time to take pictures. In fact, now that I think of it, I should have gotten a shot in the side view mirror as well.
If you'd like to buy a print of this image, there is an admittedly slim chance it's already on sale at PhotoDude Labs (it can't hurt to look). If it isn't, e-mail me, and I'll reply with the particulars.

Somehow, when I see one of those in the rear view mirror, I don’t get a sudden urge to steer with my knee while I go for the camera. But that’s just me.
