1424 Finding the Light

PixelPile #1424 Finding the Light

It seems like much of my “found” photography involves stumbling on a pool of light, and then trying to find something to put in it. It’s usually fleeting, so you have to move quick. This was early morning light, filtered through a piece of stained glass, shadowed by the piano leg. So I just turned into the bathroom, grabbed the soap dish, and plopped it down. Add a little post-production blur on the carpet, and you have the above.

If you'd like to buy a print of this image, there is an admittedly slim chance it's already on sale at PhotoDude Labs (it can't hurt to look). If it isn't, e-mail me, and I'll reply with the particulars.

Comments have been turned off, originally due to a vulnerability in Movable Type. It's now been patched, but I'm no longer willing to leave TextDrive's server at risk to attack by spammers, just so I can get two or three comments per month on my photos. My apologies.
