Opening Ceremonies Panoramas
This first image is from the first half of the show, when we audience members got to participate with flashlights. Yes, I did my part, but it's not easy to wave around a flashlight with your left hand while holding a camera and shooting with your right. Somehow, I managed to cope with these difficult shooting conditions.


The second panorama was taken from the seat I occupied during the second half of the show, during the tribute to Martin Luther King, with all 11,000 athletes in the center of the field. Those two white spots on the right and left are caused by audience members using their flash cameras to light up the back of the head of the person in front of them. Kodak loves folks like them.....
