Matching the Five Million — In my inbox last night: “The Clinton campaign just announced that Hillary and Bill Clinton injected $5 million of their personal fortune into her campaign a few days ago,” followed by a plea to match their money (Note: Clinton’s $5 mil is four times Obama’s net worth). Since the polls closed Tuesday, Obama has raised over $7.5 million. Meanwhile, some Clinton aides are going without pay this month. Sounds like someone cockily pegged their budget to the idea it would all be over by Feb. 6.
