Counting Days and Days That Count

This week contains the anniversaries of some very happy times.

Two years ago Wednesday was “Gotcha Day” for Princess Caroli. 11 years and 363 days ago (two days shy of a dozen years, or alternately, a gross of months), the Atlanta Braves won the World Series … and on that night I first met my future wife.

Five years ago today, we got married (plus photos here, and some of my favorite writing, Pre-Wedding Vignettes).

And apparently I’ve been good enough over the past five years she’s willing to renew my contract. So, Happy Anniversary, honey!
