Textpattern Template: Web Writer v3

This is a remixing of a template set, Web Writer, that began quite some time ago. In September of 2004, there were very few templates available for Textpattern, which was on Release Candidate 1 back then. I made a few available, including Web Writer v1 and Web Writer v2. Later Alexandra used it as the basis for an updated Textpattern 4.0.x template named Coffee Bar [demo].

When the Textplates deadline got extended two weeks, I decided it was time mash it up once again, mixing influences and bits from this site, a much wider layout than v1 or v2, plus some goodies in the sidebar. It’s been tested in Internet Explorer 6 and 7, Firefox 1.5 and 2.0, Safari 2.0 and 3.0, and Opera 9.1. Textpattern v4.0.5 is required.

Next up, I’m working on a couple of template sets that can be used as “add-on” sections in an existing Textpattern installation. One to create a customized “Start” page, and one to create a contacts list. Hopefully I’ll have those available sometime in August.
