Call for a Blogger’s Code of Conduct — This is an April Fool’s joke, right? You can’t put the worms back in the can, they’ve been out and multiplying for so long that they won’t even fit in a 50 gallon drum.

I think we should call for a Cat Bloggers Code of Conduct. You know, try to limit the whole thing to Caturdays and put funny captions with the pictures, instead of the whole “oh, look how cute my cat, who looks like 50 million other cats, looks.”
Hey, watch it bud. I was putting my pussy on the web in 96, long before these latecomer catbloggers. I’m more interested in banning ridiculous headlines that make sense only if you’ve got your head up your rantosphere. Example seen at memeorandum:
Kossacks blast Michelle’s criticism of the chocolate Jesus double standard
People. Speak English. The plain clear kind. Assume not everyone knows or cares who the %$#@ “Kossacks” are (beyond early Russian history), or why Michelle Pfeiffer would be involved with them (no, not everyone is So Big they get to have Just One Name, Ms. Malkin). And I’m not even going to try and deconstruct the chocolate Jesus double standard.
Some day soon, bloggers will speak in their own jargo-dialect and only be understood by each other. Sometimes.
I’m not clicking on that link, because I’m having too much fun laughing at the headline and I don’t want to spoil it by figuring out what it is.
I mean, that’s a book title right there, like The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds
no, not everyone is So Big they get to have Just One Name, Ms. Malkin
Interesting point, “PhotoDude.”
Don’t you have a blog to update or something, Mr. SmartyPants?
PhotoDude is but a domain name. Around here and out on the web, I leave comments using the name Reid. Yes, just Reid.
And occasionally “The Artist Formerly Known As PhotoDude” (because the symbol won’t render in ASCII text).
