How Gay Republicans Will Destroy Democrats
As more rumors accusations news stories appear about The Foley File (containing an as yet unknown number of pages), the true outlines of those behind this scandal are becoming clearer to me, with the help of two incensed Americans.
“Reverend” Don Wildmon lays down the foreshadowing: “I think the identification of the members of the homosexual clique is going to come out. I think it’s going to come out whether or not Hastert knew what he says, and at this point I’m inclined to believe he’s telling the truth. I’m beginning to think that the homosexuals shielded their former Congressman Foley and that Denny Hastert did not know the depth of what’s going on up there.”
And then Cliff Kincaid brings it home: “If you are getting the idea that gay Republicans may be closeted Democrats, then you are beginning to understand how the Mark Foley scandal could have been a Democratic Party dirty trick.”
Granted, Wildmon and Kincaid are what one might call “free range nutballs” rather than “mainstream Republicans,” but it seems to me they are just taking much of the recent spin and pushing it to its logical conclusion.
If you’re gay, you simply can’t be a Republican. And if you claim to be, it’s only because you are part of a Democratic sleeper cell.
This, of course, is one step shy of the whole truth. These are truly heterosexual Republicans merely posing as gay Republicans so they can then be accused of being Democratic plants, and thus, bring down the Democratic Party.
I can’t believe this isn’t obvious to everyone.

They sound like Communists trying to root out Trotskyites.
I knew Hitchens was somehow behind this.
