Small Pleasures
Sunday mornings, I usually get a much nicer version of the “alarm clock” than I do during the week. Susan tends to get up earlier than I do, and then awakens me in time to see CBS Sunday Morning. This weekend, she woke me up with the news that Thomas Hamill was free. And the thought of a “Southern Boy” in his 40’s escaping from his insurgent captors made this “Southern Boy” in his 40’s wake up giggling.
Then later Sunday night, I discovered by chance that my Google Page Rank has increased from 5/10 to 6/10. A small pleasure that only a geek could enjoy.
But I did. I take ‘em where I can get ‘em.

Now tell me, how does one find their page rank? :)
Install the Google Toolbar in IE, and when you load a page, it has a small listing in the toolbar showing the page rank (mouse over it to get the actual number). It’s become one of the few reasons I open IE these days.
