Remember
Remember – On the side of the Tomb of the Unknowns, there’s an inscription:
Here Rests
In Honored Glory
An American Soldier
Known But To God
A ceremony was held there today, to honor those who gave their lives in defense of the US. But you don’t have to go to Arlington, nor do you need to limit your respects to the dead. Today is for the living.
There are over 25 million veterans in this country, and the massive contribution that group has made to this country over the past 90 years cannot be quantified. You most certainly know one of them. They may be one of the few WWI veteran’s still alive, or they may be a private fresh out of boot camp. Today is the day to simply say, ”thanks for your service to your country. Thanks for protecting the freedoms I enjoy every day.”

As a vet and regular reader, I'd just like to say: 1) You're welcome 2) Thanks for being the kind of American that's worth protecting :-)
