Media Assault on Vick
When I explained the roots of the Madden Curse and how it put some Bad Mojo on Michael Vick, I also said it could have been worse.
I had no idea: “Sports Illustrated had multiple photographers at Saturday’s game with the idea of putting Vick on the cover on its NFL kickoff edition.”
The Madden Curse and the Sports Illustrated Cover Curse, in one week? Luckily, one preempted the other, or this voodoo vortex might have caused Michael Vick to simply spontaneously combust.
