Too Much, Not Enough, Wrong Size
Too Much, Not Enough, Wrong Size – I’d apologize for the lack of content here, if I thought someone was going to sue me. The truth is, I’ve been busy working, building web sites, and making prints. It doesn’t help that most every newscast I hear sounds like it’s being done by Charlie Brown’s teacher: Bla-bla-bla-Blah Iraq Bla-bla-bla-Blah bin Laden Bla-bla-bla-Blah. It’s as if the world is being hosed down with a vat of waffles with indecision syrup. About all I can say to that is, Bla-bla-bla-Blah Comment Bla-bla-bla-Blah Opinion. But every weblog has already said that, or argued strongly against it.
However, I can make a firm stand on one topic. By Gum, I’m ready for spring. Bring it on. Do your worst, Mother Nature. I can take it.

So you're a tough guy now? Being a big bad man and flipping off Mother Nature? Bad move, bro. She'll slap you upside your head without even knowing you are there. Now you want to tick her off AND draw attention to yourself? You're on your own if she loses it. When she does her worst, don't come crying to us. For all your tough talk, I suspect you can't handle the truth (whatever the form-snow,ice,rain she'll pick out something special for those who mock her). P.S. I'm sick of winter too, just don't let, um, "her", know I said so okay?
Oh, Mother Nature and I go way back [“...nor did Mother Nature grant me very good weather (but I shot it anyway, out of spite)”]. Sometimes I think she just lives to tease me, but when I'm about fed up and telling her to do her worst, she puts out in amazing ways. This past weekend ... literally, over the weekend ... she caused the majority of the Bartlett Pear trees in Atlanta to explode. Branches that were bare on Friday are covered with “spring popcorn” today (photos to come). Most impressive. But still somewhat of a tease, given that temps have risen ... but only into the 50's ... and that most plant life is still just waking up. Kind of like getting to second base, and having to wait until the next date for more. (Third base = blooming dogwoods)
Just great. You get uppity and get blossums. I suck up and all I get another 2 feet of snow in the last two weeks and minus 40 weather. There is no justice.
Ah, spring! I was home in Jersey last week for "spring" break. No spring there, only snow. I return to Atlanta sunday and am walking around in a T-shirt.
