Quotes from the Overwhelmed – Sometimes herculean chores bring forth quotes. Like Steven Green, who is moving into a newly purchased home: “Book burners are neither Nazis, nor Communists, nor religious nuts. They’re just people who have moved one too many times.”
I had a thought rise repeatedly to the surface of my mind the other night while editing about a decade of slides for potential print files, and repeatedly coming across “jobs” I’d forgotten about: “Sometimes a man forgets his waking nightmares, and that’s what little boxes of slides are for…”
