Cloneaid = Raelian PR

Cloneaid = Raelian PR – Call it the first media event of 2003, and hope that it’s the last: “The head of the Raelian movement, who calls himself ’Rael,’ said Thursday that he has told Clonaid’s leader not to perform DNA tests on the infant girl, nicknamed ’Eve.’”

So, several days of front page publicity come to an end, and apparently we’ll never know for sure if this baby even really exists: “Will the public get a chance to see the baby soon? ’I don’t think so,’ Rael said in the ’Crossfire’ interview.”

“At another point, he was asked if his group had simply gotten away with a great publicity stunt. Rael, speaking from Canada via satellite, said his earpiece was having technical difficulties. ’I am so sorry, but the sound is so bad. I cannot hear anything,’ he said.”

Sure you can’t. It appears this whole “story” has been nothing but a bunch of formless noise. But it sure attracted a lot of attention for the Raelians, who almost no one had heard of before this, didn’t it?

I think that cloning is BULLSHIT

Cloning is the next logical step of human progression. It may challenge the beliefs of those incapable of letting go of their Old Testament thinking. Those who can't accept the future will call it 'bullshit'.

There is nothing wrong with cloning. Infertile couples can move their DNA along into the future until the time that gene splicing technology can repair their genetic flaws that caused their infertility in the first place - and those folks with already-repaired DNA will simply have kids the old fashioned way - they certainly wouldn't go to the expense of cloning once they can reproduce normally. People worry about cloning so much that they are not thinking clearly about it.

Trying to bypass evolution will or will not be succesfull. Do we really want to gamble with our genes? People betting on non-excisting technology are not thinking clearly in my view.

In response to "Sensible", I agree that there's nothing wrong with the concept, however you seem to have forgotten that there are thousands of kids waiting for adoption and families who can't have children 'the old-fashioned way' aught to adopt. As for you, "Kiley Hammonds", you're fucking retarded.

Cloning is wrong. Only God can create human life, man does not have that power. I believe in Jesus Christ who died for everyone's sins. He wants you to believe in Him and to trust in Him!

There is no need for cloning, we need less people not more. Also how can we evolve if all we do is copy ourselves?

Well, there really is the truth out there..yeah..a bunch o nuts. Cloning is possible, as was evidenced by the sheep experient. However, those people have had too much of something. Resurrecting Jesus from DNA and the guy calling himself Rael. I really hope people like this don't have followers. Oh yeah..they do..they are called Cult Members..

Ignorance has driven us this far. It's handed us the gift of our biggest disorder yet: Schitzophrenia. We are housing this abnormality in all our doings. What is normal to us, is in fact, fact: wrong. We can never prseume we know... this belief seems in all counts, reasonable. Raelism could just be the order.
