Terrorist Silenced in British Town
Terrorist Silenced in British Town – This story says the terrorist "had already attacked a man mowing his lawn and woman walking down the street, in Knutsford." Then, " Two-year-old Kelsi was attacked as she took a morning stroll with her mother." That was more than some in town could take, and the terrorist was "shot dead by a grandfather seeking vengeance." [...] "Mr Horth said he was unrepentant about his vigilante action. On Thursday his wife said: ’When Geoff saw what had happened, he just wanted to put a stop to it.’ "
It was a squirrel.
You might think the calmer course would be to contact your local Society for the Protection of Animals rather than shotgun the offending beast. But that wouldn’t rid you of the squirrel. ”After the attack on Kelsi, my daughter phoned the environmental health and the RSPCA but they didn’t want to know.” [...] A spokeswoman for the RSPCA said it was unable to help ”because in this instance it was not an animal which was being harmed, it was a child”.
There’s a lesson in there somewhere.

Knutsford is about 30 mins from my house. I used to work there some years ago in an ad agency. Never got attacked by squirrels though. Good to see that the top news stories from my country are making it across the big pond.
