Photoshop Gauntlet
Photoshop Gauntlet – Subtitled, ”And Now For Something Completely Different,” which will make more sense if you take a peek at the latest in Underground Photoshop Tennis, a battle of the Dual Domain Guys, PhotoDude vs. Phineas. Although it was more like ”Photoshop Chess,” given the length of time it took us to complete ten volleys. But there’s also an odd complexity that time allows. It was, as always, a blast.
So now, I’ve taken on Jim, dueled with Melanie, and flossed Phineas (plus providing commentary for Jim vs. Noah Grey, and Melanie vs. Jayne Dough).
Who dares to take me on next? The Neanderthal Warbloggers can barely type, and the Loony Left is best at making pointless posters. Prove me wrong. Thrown down your gauntlet in the comments section.
But you’d best pack your best pixels.

Flossed? FLOSSED? Pfft. I guess if you'll feel better thinking so. I'll be ready for that rematch next time I have 6 months or so to kill.
It was the allure of alliteration. It didn't make sense ... but it sounded right. And it wasn't six months. I sent out the first volley on Valentine's Day (appropriate content, eh?). You sent me the final volley July 8. That's a volley every two weeks, evidence of the life of leisure we lead.
Wait! I thought I flossed both of you with my insightful commentary.
Best. Photoshop Tennis. Ever. I want X-Ray Vision in my Photoshop! ;0)
I'd be glad to do one. The one with Jim is still the only one I've done, and I've always thought it'd be fun to try again. ...not that I know a thing about using programs like Photoshop and its ilk, of course... *cough*
Ah, Mr. Grey, step into my lair. I was beginning to wonder of the blogosphere would ignore my challenge. Would you like to serve, or shall I? I suppose we should nominally think about getting that "Jim" guy's permission to run another one on his site, but after that "flossed" comment, I think we should wait until we're done, and just send him all ten final layered .psd's in one 150 MB attachment. And if anyone else is interested in picking up the gauntlet, I can handle doubles.
It would be my sincere honor to host the PhotoDude vs. Noah match ... and I'll also find someone to add commentary (Do either of you guys have someone you'd like me to reach out to?). As far as my comment above, I just wanted to have something to say. Commentary is the window dressing of the matches. And no one goes over to a window to see the drapes, they want to see the scenery. It was a very, very entertaining match. Well thought out and well played with uncany skill. Thanks again.
