Checking my old usenet posts, I predicted this would happen in November 1996.
This was the first thing I saw this morning...... Very scary - and a little confusing.
Scary... He's looking more worn than Ozzy. I saw that he's going on tour with Sammy Hagar this summer. I wonder what the over/under is on the number of days that tour lasts?
You know the answer to that Mr. King. You quoted the same article in your weblog: In the past, Roth has referred to Hagar as "a mediocre talent," "a complete failure," "a mindless little bridge-troll drone" and "my bitch." Yes, that will be One Big Happy Family backstage, won't it? Can't you just hear David Lee Roth introducing the band "....and on the guitar, a mediocre talent I've rescued from complete failure, my bitch, Sammy Hagar." Sammy may be taking his cast iron Stratocaster out on this tour.
Personally, I still think Diamond Dave looks more like Kira from that creepy puppet fantasy film from 1982 "The Dark Crystal."
Man did old man time take a toll on him, 15 yrs ago in the Yankee Rose video he looked really good, Now he looks like he's 90
Diamond Dave still rocks and regardless of anything his body is in tip top shape (nobody every show pic's of that!!!). I'd take him in a flash still to this day, he's intense, honest and loves to satisfy the audience. If you don't appreciate him then you don't know and love rock and roll.

I just saw DLR on CNN 8/03 and he look nothin like that he looked really good, be sides hes the best dang frontman.
