The Osbournes
The Osbournes – It’s official. It’s an absolute hoot. It’s Spinal Tap meets Ozzie & Harriet. Ozzy may be the new Homer Simpson.
"Nearly every sentence spoken by the four contains bleeped profanity, but in some ways the Osbournes are a typical family. Daughter Kelly, for instance, has no patience for her parents, especially when her dad can’t hear her. Ozzy responds, ’You have not been standing in front of 30 billion decibels for 35 years. Write me a note.’ "

Well, I committed a commenting faux pas. I see you already exactly quoted my favorite part in a previous entry. So much for my research skills. My bad. ... slinks away ...
Oh, Ozzy is so quotable, you can't get too much. I loved it after the appearance on the Tonight Show, when he was assesssing his performance; "Not bad for a fifty--".... then he turned to his wife, " 'ow old am I?" I may have watched a total of a half dozen episodes of this whole "Reality TV" ilk; Survivor, Real Life on MTV, Big Brother, etc. It just holds no appeal for me. But I expect to be a regular watcher, Tuesdays at 10:30.
Oh yes, Ozzy is eminently quotable. I recall an interview where he mentioned a discussion with a shrink in the 70s. The shrink asked him "do you masturbate?" and Ozzy replied "do you breathe?" to which the shrink replied that he did. Ozzy snapped, "well, don't ask such stupid questions, then". My favourite though has to be his reponse when asked if he had a drink problem. "Of course I have a drink problem. I've only got one mouth".
i just love the osbournes they are sooo cool and funny!

Goddamn that was a funny show! Later today I'll write about it on my own site. That was my second favorite Oz quote/moment. My first was when his son comes running up to him complaining about his sister. Ozzy squares him off, looks him in the eye and very sincerely says, "You know I love you all more than life itself, but you're all MAD." More later at JimFo.
