Best of 2001 – Yes, everyone’s doin’ the Year End Wrap Up. And it’s certainly been a unique one. So I spent some time reviewing what I’ve written this year, and tried to cull out my favorites (you can find the Best of 2000 on the archives page).

And we know what happened next; September 11. It changed a lot of things, including this weblog. My writings on the war are already compiled in a ”best of” format, Words of War, along with quotes from others. Chapter One covers from 9-11 until the bombing campaign began. Chapter Two bridges the beginning of the air campaign to the fall of Kabul. And Chapter Three takes in the last month and a half of 2001.
