UK Children Cause Earthquake in Giant Jump – I’ve always wondered what would happen if a billion Chinese all got on chairs and jumped off at the same time. ”Scientists said a million children with an average weight of 110 pounds jumping 20 times in a minute would release two billion joules of energy and trigger the equivalent of an earthquake measuring three on the Richter scale.” These British children, likely unwitting saps of some Chi-Com R & D experiment, have proven the theory true.
A billion Chinese. On chairs. Maybe they’ll even escalate, to high chairs. Or 6 foot step ladders. There’s an arms race in which we can’t possibly hope to ever compete, missile defense or not.
